This is an odd announcement.

I love the look of the device but it’s purpose is to stream games over Wi-Fi that are already installed on your PS5…

I have to assume this is a step 1, before Sony announce a game pass competitor that has full on game streaming.

I hope it isn’t too expensive as it pales in comparison to something like a steamdeck that has both the ability to stream and play games locally.
