Productivity: Where digital beats analog

I’ve been using a paper journal for a couple of months and it’s starting to fall down for me. (1) I forget I even have a journal (2) with no reminders I forget to do stuff (3) getting distracted by the fact I hate the paper in my particular journal.

I think the only way a paper journal works is if you can build up a routine of updating it over breakfast or evening meal, making sure you’ve done what you needed to today and you’re ready for tomorrow.

I’m starting to think I’m too scatter brained for a paper journal, mines an absolute mess. Maybe it’s the A5 size I have but I’m running out of space each day quite easily and try as I am it’s just not sticking long term.

I can see the appeal of something like a bullet journal too but it’s not something I want to get into.

What do you do?
