I’m a big Casio fan having worn them since the 80’s and my most recent daily wears are the AE1200 and G-Shock 5600.

As a daily wear I’m favouring the AE1200 right now. It’s text is easier to see to my aging eyes, it’s lighter , the strap is more comfortable and the back light is better.

The 5600 is a great watch too but the font is a little small and the buttons are harder to press. If you work an tough job or hike a lot though you’d be better off with the 5600.

In almost all cases I’d recommend the AE1200 over a 5600.
