I’m not sure if this is just me but creatively I struggle with any project. I have no idea what I want to do new, continue doing or stop and that’s ok.

I’m not one for setting goals around creativity and just go with how I’m feeling. If I feel like playing guitar I’ll pick it up, if I want to write a blog post I’ll do it. I don’t have any set topic to write about it’ll just come to me.

Going into the new year I’m also not one for saying something like, I’ll post every day or I want 1000 followers on Mastodon etc. I just think about what I enjoy and go with it. Many will think this is pretty crappy but for me if I start to build deadlines or big goals around creating it feels like work and I rebel.

I guess what I’m saying is that it’s ok not to have a plan and just create based on your mood.
