How will cutting off Twitter affect my blog traffic

When I decided to stop sharing any of these posts to Twitter I didn’t even think about how it might affect my traffic. On looking at the stats I get monthly, Twitter accounts for about 30% of my traffic but I’m ok taking a stance here and losing that.

I make nothing from this blog, yup zero. It costs me to keep this passion project going so it’s all in my control. Stats are meaningless to me at this point and with no supporters or sponsors (not for the lack of trying) the only person I’m accountable to us myself.

So I’m potentially giving up 30% of my traffic and I’m good with that.
