With all the recent news of a certain billionaire buying Twitter it came with good timing for me as someone that is slowly checking out of Twitter. I took the decision to remove the app from my iPhone a couple of weeks ago and barely checked in since. I miss communicating with some friends on there but I can talk to most on iMessage or Slack now. With his ownership it’s only going to go one way and those like myself I feel will feel less and less welcome on it’s platform. I can see who he’ll let back on and amplify the voices of those I don’t want to see.

It’s a slow demise in my opinion so I’m slowly leaving the platform.
