Whilst I’ve been switching platforms I’ve run into a few problems with calls and messages not coming through to my Android device but it’s a bit trickier than I thought. With your SIM in your iPhone you need to turn off both iMessage and FaceTime BEFORE removing it to go into your new device. This was the mistake I made, I’ve since reset and trying again.
