I’ve been using the iPhone 13 mini as my phone of choice now for a couple of months and love the form factor, I’ve written about this before but it is still a joy to use. I can put in my pocket and forget about it, something I haven’t been able to do for years.
Looking at the iPhone 14 Pro camera rumours and the invitation it’s got me thinking that the camera upgrades might be massive this year. The invite sure does seem to point towards a big step forward in astrophotography, or I could just be reading too much into it.
The camera is one of the main improvements I look at with year on year upgrades and I have been very happy with pretty much all the cameras since the iPhone 11. I don’t miss the telephoto of the Pro at all but something with great low light performance might be enough for me to give the Pro another try, even though the ergonomics aren’t ideal.
For those if you on the iPhone Mini train, what do you think would cause you to switch from this little gem of a device?
