SeikoMods

I’ve been getting back into mechanical watches for a while now and planning to start to take stuff apart and attempt to put back together. I’ve got a book and a set of watch tools and no clue right now but I take inspiration from the SeikoMod community, here’s one such place on Reddit.

Seiko are one of my all time favourite watch brands and using their movement to build something custom really appeals to me but I need to plan where to start.

I’m going to pick up an already done SeikoMod to tinker with and then use as a basis for my own custom watch.

Changing watch bands is pretty much all I’ve done so far so it’s time to start reading.

Anyone into this hobby?
