I’ve been wrestling with my use of Amazon for years but after their latest apparent lack of care for their staff I decided to leave and delete my account. This was around New Year of 2022. Since then I’ve been absolutely fine without an Amazon account, in fact it’s been easy.

I’ve been using more local shops when I’ve been out and about in the world, I’ve used the brands own website or just bought less.

What I found is that with the lure of next day shipping it bypassed my complete buying process and I picked up stuff that I might have not fully thought through. Having to find things a little more has helped me take a step back and most of the time I don’t end up purchasing.

Not only is it saving me money but it’s better for the environment.

I’m not saying this is for everyone but if you have a little patience then leaving Amazon is easy.
