I’m a big watch and space nerd and I was completely taken by surprise that an Apple Watch is currently being used on the International Space Station.
Japanese astronaut Soichi Noguchi is a great follow anyway but I spotted him wearing what looks like a blue Apple Watch series 6 and now I’m fascinated by what it means.
Is is there for testing? What’s is being used for? Was it supplied by Apple? I need to know more!
Space watches are cool and I’m fascinated by everything from the classic Omega Speedmaster all the way to Casio G-shocks that have been taken and are pretty standard carries for an astronaut.
If anyone has any info on this please let me know.
If Apple didn’t supply this and don’t jump on it for marketing then they are missing out.
