Since cutting back I’ve moved my iPhone package from a £25 a month unlimited data plan to a £9 one. As part of this I also needed to check my device details to make sure that my device isn’t using mobile when it shouldn’t. I noticed that on a few day trips out my data had been used without me knowing and took 2 of my 8GB.
Here’s how to change the settings on your iPhone to make sure yours isn’t.
Head into settings then mobile data.
Run through each app that is using mobile data and deselect the ones that aren’t crucial, for example I’ve turned off Photos and TV. Also make sure you turn off mobile assist and iCloud Drive.
I didn’t see much else using my data but if like me you need to watch the data being used then give the above a try.
